Submissions Tuesday, September 18, 2007It’s been great to see some fine submissions rolling into Fictive over the past few months, as we hit the warmer months in Australia we plan on getting some new designs into production, hopefully getting to use some of the wealth of design talent that’s out there. As always if you have a design idea floating around in your head put down on paper or into your computer and send it in submit@fictive.com.au. Also feel free to give us your thoughts on this current crop of new ideas, we would love to hear what you think.

Peter Vogel Thursday, August 2, 2007The Fictive gang have been lucky enough to be spending a little time in Europe lately and got along to the Freiburg Museum of Modern Art in Germany to check out Peter Vogel’s work. Peter Vogel is one of the leading pioneers of interactive electronic sculpture, producing works since the 1960s. The work was on display was really cool. Peter works with electronics, light, sound and movement to create interactive and entertaining works of art which move, create light and sound dependant on the viewers own movements and sounds.

Our legendary design guru has just put together four new wallpapers for your desktop. We have put these in a new section of the site called "lost and found". Its basically a dumping ground for us to toss new things that we (or you) find that people can get lost in; new websites, designs, or cool new things that are happening in your part of the world. Feel free to send us something you want out there. |

Fictive T-Shirts - Live Sunday, June 24, 2007Well, we finally have things up and running and the first batch of designs ready to roll. It’s been a quite bit of work to get to this stage but we are really happy with the first eleven designs and how they have turned out in t-shirt form. Every design has been through multiple iterations and has seen plenty of debate to decide what would make the cut and what wouldn't, since we really want this first batch of t-shirts to show what Fictive is capable of.
We are also really excited about seeing some of the work that people send in. We have already spoken to one designer who is interested in working with us and has some great concepts that look very promising.
As a bit of a side project Luke from Brotherespresso in Brisbane has been in contact about working with us to develop some special tee's for his staff and sale through the shop. Brotherespresso a great little Espresso shop with a focus on style and quality products, I am really looking forward to working with them to develop something that fits in with their attitude. |
